So after more thought, and more numbers crunching we both decided to hold off on the car.
I'm working hard to build us some sort of savings account, and I must say we've already got quite a bit of money saved for Christmas. I can make Christmas club deposits whenever I want.
I have a "Sheri play fund" and "Michael play fund" and then we've just got our "savings".
So while I may *want* a new car, it's just not going to happen!
I'm actually more ok with it than I thought I would be, but maybe in 6 months I'll be able to revisit this road and a more perfect car will be out there for us.
After all both boys want a TV in the car.
I'm still leaning towards the Ford Taurus X, so for now we've tabled car talk!

Good idea on your part to not get the car yet. I know you would like to have a new one, but save up some money and pay off some bills if necessary and then, as you say, in 6 months revisit the idea. GOOD LUCK
