Report Cards are in!!

I'm very excited to say with a lot of hard work we pulled the Language Arts grade from a mid C to a low B...

So he had 4 A's and 1 B!!

I'm so proud of him....

I've got to post pictures as well....he got his glasses yesterday!

So what to say about my biopsy???

Can we just say I'm of mixed emotions?

I came back as 90% cancer free or clean cells.

I was given my option to start radiation now or wait 6 months. I chose to wait 6 months. I have to have monthly biopsys to see if it's progressing, but as long as I stay at the 90% she will allow me to make the choice.

Seems so surreal and like it's happening to someone else, but it's me....needless to say it's been a crazy summer and a summer full of stitches for me.

Luckily the monthly biopsys will just be skin scrapes. I won't require stitches, so that in itself is a plus. The recovery time is also a lot faster.

All I can hope for is that I will come back with 100% clear cells without having to go through radiation.

I'm glad that atleast the Language Arts grade is holding steady! He is right in line with his class, so I just need to stop stressing...although that's easier said then done!!

I spoke with the Accelerated Reader Mom for his class and she was excited to say that he will make his reading goal for the 9 weeks as well. He is currently at 3.8 and his goal is 5. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but she is very excited for him. It's the same mom that did it in his 1st grade class so that makes me happy also!!

So here we go with stitches again.....

So this year I've had stitches in my left thumb, and my right leg.

So lets add to that by adding stitches to the small of my back.

They did the biopsy again yesterday. She took a bigger piece out, and this one required stitches.

I ended up with 4 internal and I think 8 external.

I have to go back in 2 weeks to get the stitches removed and I should have the test results by then.

My back aches a little more today than it did yesterday, but I'm in good spirits. I'm not letting it get to me, right now I'm going on the thoughts that it's not cancer and that whatever "it" is they got it all!!

So now we are back in the waiting game...here's hoping these 2 weeks go really fast!!

Xander's Allergy testing...

Went really well!!

Other than the fact that I thought it was at 8:15 and it ended up being at 1:15.

He was a trooper!! No nap before hand, and stayed awake and a happy camper through the whole ordeal.

We finished about 2:30, and he lasted about 5 minutes in the car before he zonked!!

We are on 3 new meds, hopefully to help dry out his nose some. He has yet another sinus infection, and hopefully once we get the nose dried out that will come to an end as well!

Didn't like the skin test, but didn't cry either. Just was really ticked at the lady.
